Annual Radio Inspection
Our certified team of surveyors can provide a full radio survey service on board your vessel. We can provide this service on any manufacturer’s radio station (GMDSS); some major classification societies have approved it.
In detail, we will provide a complete inspection of all the equipment that makes up your radio station. For the inspection, we follow a strict procedure and check each point below on the radio station of any manufacturer.
They are:
- Radio License
- Radio Personnel Class & Certificate number
- All general requirements required for Radio Installations
- Testing of all fixed radios (VHF’s & MF/HF) and secondary forms of alert (Inm-C)
- Testing of all items that emit Maritime Safety Information such as – EPIRB / SART / NAVTEX / EGC receiver/decoder & Two-way VHFs
- Primary & Secondary Power Supply
- Valid SBM (Shore Based Maintenance certificate)
- Guidance on all mandatory documentation required by regulatory bodies.
